While yields were naturally lower, the fruit that emerged was nothing short of extraordinary: small, thick‑skinned berries with remarkable concentration, vibrant acidity, and tannins that are powerful yet refined. It is a vintage that demanded precision and attention in the vineyard and intuition in the cellar—an approach shaped by Angelina’s unwavering attention to detail—ultimately rewarding us with another profound expression of the mountain.

Crafted from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and laid to rest exclusively in new French oak, the 2022 Limitless is a testament to the fourth‑generation heritage behind Dark Matter. Each lot was fermented on skins for 16 days before being pressed directly to barrel, allowing the wine to develop its signature structure and aromatic intensity. The result is a Cabernet that is both commanding and seductive—dark, textural, and layered with the spice and minerality that only Howell Mountain can offer.
